London based Midstream Lighting winner of the 2018 Queens Award for Innovation, has been awarded the prestigious honour of the 2020 Queen’s Award for International Trade.
Midstream is a designer and manufacturer of advanced, specialist, best-in-class LED lighting solutions for the aviation, sports, maritime, and horticultural industries around the world. Their purpose-built lighting solutions are designed to tackle the technically precise demands of the world’s most critical and major infrastructures. Manufactured to meet the highest quality standards and regulations of each region they’re deployed in.
On the award, Midstream Lighting’s Co-Founder, Alexander Krupkin, said: ‘’We’re extremely proud of this award. It doesn’t just recognise us. It’s also a testament to our dedicated team of partners all over the world. And to our amazing clients.’’
His Co-Founder, Yuli Grig, who was recently appointed as an Export Champion by the UK DIT (The Department for International Trade) went on to say: ‘‘As a child I remember looking at the packaging of Vitabiotics Vitamins and setting myself the goal to win a Queen’s award. Now Midstream has won two. My childhood dream has come true – twice!’’
Since 2018 the companies turnover has continued to grow organically at 70% year on year, and they have expanded further exporting to over 50 countries, opening up new markets as well as launching a number of new product series.
